Our History
St. Dominic's Senior High Technical School
St. Dominic's Senior High Technical School is sourced from the Most Rev. Dominic Andoh, Archbishop Emeritus of the Accra Arch Diocese. The school started in 1980 as one of the then nine (9) Regional Pilot Experimental Junior Secondary Schools.
This embryonic humble status of the school was initiated under the able, well-focused leadership of Rev. Fr. Joseph Glatzel of blessed memory who had earlier been decked out with enviable indelible imprints as Headmaster in the annals of St. Peter's Secondary School, Nkwatia.
The transitional period of the Experimental JSS to St. Dominic's Secondary Technical School, the first of its kind in the Kwahu South District took effect in the reign of Nana Ampadu Okyere II in 1991 who gave his blessing to the school on her present premises.
Also, the expansion of the school would have been stifled but for the generosity of the Presbyterian Church of Pepease that released a portion of their land to the school. This is a very laudable partnership.
